Nancy Lee Conrad



Nancy Lee Conrad is a former US YCW leader from Baltimore.

She worked as a fulltimer for the US YCW from its national office in Chicago, including working as an extension worker in New Orleans.

In 1957, she took part in the YCW Pilgrimage to Rome and in 1961 she was a delegate for the US YCW to the YCW International Council in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Later, she became involved in the Hispanic community in Baltimore.

Nancy graduated from the Maryland Institute of Art in 1959 after four years of classical instruction in drawing and painting from the late Jacques Maroger, former Technical Director of the Louvre.

She is known for her paintings of flowers.

As an instructor she has taught part-time at the Maryland Institute of Art, for various community organizations in New Orleans and Baltimore.

Throughout her career she has provided private art classes in her studio.

Nancy has also been a longstanding member of Cardijn Associates, Inc., in particular providing assistance for the re-establishment of the US YCW during the 1990s.
