Bishop Julius Angerhausen



Born in 1911, Fr Julius Angerhausen was national chaplain of the German YCW (CAJ) during the 1950s.

He was ordained as an auxiliary bishop of Essen in 1959 and became bishop of that city in 1986.

He participated in all four sessions of Vatican II as a Council Father.
